MISSION STATEMENT
BarterWATER for Sustainability aims to engage local community into WaterAction, in lieu of drinking water credit. To barter drinking water for the actions and activities required for the agendas of Sustainable Developments Goals, and for Sustainable Local Economy.
BarterWATER is a unique program to prevail sustainability, alligned with UN's decade for action agenda (2018-2028), 'Water for Sustainable Developement'

02.04.2023, Ara, Bihar - Dumaria Panchayat provides the letter of support to Water Bank Foundation for the project
19.06.2023, New Delhi - After the presentation and discussions from Niti Ayog officials, Shri Avinash Mishra - Advisor
(Water & Panchayati Raj) - issues the letter of support for the BarterWATER pilot project to be executed in Dumaria.
23.09.2023, New Delhi - After a series of discussion with Ministry of Home Affairs, and RBI the financial approval for the pilot project BarterWATER project at Dumaria is done.
22.10.2023, Dumaria, Ara, Bihar - Land/Location for the first (4) sites for the installation of OAS Spring Community Drinking Water Purification plants were identified by the Dumaria Panchayat, and the Bhoomipoojan was performed by local community. The ground work started for the installation.
